No more fights over screen time.
Task2Play makes screen time something kids earn. They do chores around the house, and the minutes land on their own time account. Fair rules, visible to everyone, no daily negotiations.

Hi, I'm Bo. Go ahead!
This is what Task2Play feels like for your child. In the app, parents confirm completed chores if they want to.
Three steps to a more relaxed family.
No tutorial needed. Parents set it up in 2 minutes, kids get it from day one.
- 01
Set the chores
Parents define household tasks and their value in minutes of screen time. "Dishwasher = 15 min", "Trash = 10 min".
Parents · 2 min setup - 02
Do it and tick it off
The child completes a chore and taps it done. The earned time lands on their own account automatically.
Child · 1 tap - 03
Redeem screen time
Tablet on, pick play time, the account is debited. Fair rules, transparent for the whole family.
Together
Everything a family really needs.
-
Own time account
Every child has a balance in minutes. Completed chores are credited, used time is deducted.
-
Reward catalogue
Trade earned minutes for non-screen rewards too: staying up later, ice cream, a board game night.
-
Family Bonus
A shared weekend reward that only the whole family can unlock together.
-
Kid mode & kid account
PIN-protected on the family device, or with an own account on the child's device. Join by family code or QR code.
-
Streaks
Keep going and collect bonus minutes at milestones. With a pause for holidays and sick days.
-
Statistics & history
Who did what, and when? Weekly review, calendar and a complete history, ideal for fair discussions.
Also: Weekday scheduling and one-off tasks, several children, family media rules agreed together, an optional daily limit and quiet time in the evening with guideline values from German paediatric bodies, free cloud sync, works offline.
Because screen time is not the problem. How we talk about it is.
-
Builds responsibility
Kids experience the link between contribution and reward. A lesson for life.
-
Makes rules transparent
No more "why does he get more?". All accounts are visible, all rules are the same.
-
Fewer daily negotiations
Instead of arguing every day, the system runs in the background. You only step in when needed.
-
Values invisible work
Housework gets a value, literally. An important reminder for parents too.
Strong together.
Rewarded together.
When the kids keep at it from Monday to Friday, the whole family unlocks a shared reward at the weekend. Cinema. Pizza night. Swimming pool. Whatever you like.

Privacy policy (German)
In plain language, available any time.
Free for families. Pro for sharing.
The free version is complete and has no ads. You only need Pro when several devices should use the same household.
- Create chores & set minute values
- A time account for every child, visible to both sides
- Kid mode on the family device (PIN-protected)
- Cloud sync & backup
- Reward catalogue & Family Bonus
- Streak bonus for keeping at it
- Join a shared household
Everything in Free, plus:
- Share the household: see, change & send the join code
- Second parent with their own device
- Kids with their own device & own kid account
One Pro subscription per household is enough: partners and kids join for free. Premium mascots are optional one-time purchases, independent of the subscription. The price shown in the Play Store applies.
What does the app cost?
Task2Play is free in its basic version, complete and without ads. You only need Task2Play Pro (€2.99 a month or €9.99 a year) if you want to share your household, for example with the second parent or on your child's device. Joining is always free.
From what age does it make sense?
We recommend ages 6 to 14. Younger kids benefit from the visual feedback and the mascots, older ones learn responsibility with their own time account.
What about our children's data?
We only store what the app needs about children, such as name, age, chores and time account. No ad tracking, no advertising profiles, no sale of data. Usage statistics and crash reports only exist if parents agree, and never for kid accounts or kid mode (details in the privacy policy).
What if a child cheats?
By default, parents confirm completed chores. We recommend that for younger kids; older kids can tick off chores themselves.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. All chores are stored locally and sync automatically as soon as there is internet again.
Is there an iOS version?
Android only for now. An iOS version is planned, there is no date yet. If you want to hear about it, join the waiting list.
Ready for calmer evenings?
